A little late we know, but we'd still like to tell you about our Christmas. Brian had his first Christmas with Kennedy this year, and it was just great! Kennedy was sick, but she still loved opening presents. Thank you to everyone who sent something!

On Christmas Eve Brian had his unit over for dinner. It went well, and he really enjoys feeding the soldiers who are either away from their families or single. Kennedy stayed up way late, 9:30PM, on Christmas Eve, so we expected her to sleep late on Christmas morning. That wasn't exactly how it happened; she was up at 6:45 AM. Oh, the day began early, and now I wasn't feeling well. Kennedy loved all her toys. She really loved her doll house that Brian and I got for her. I can't believe that she plays with her doll house; she usually only plays with "boy" toys. Kennedy got Brian some surround sound speakers, and I got him a stereo and a Nintendo Wii. He ended up having to return the stereo because it wasn't compatible with our TV. I was so disappointed that my present didn't work out. Brian got me a great, wonderful MacBook. I have been wanting a laptop forever, but I couldn't go out and spend the money. Our holiday was very calm and included watching movies, playing with new toys, and laying on the couch. We had to cancel our Christmas dinner plans due to Kennedy and I being sick.

We were truly blessed to have Christmas 2007 as a family.

Our internet & phone got fixed this morning! Yea, no more stealing wireless from our neighbors.

Only in Italy would you call the semi-English speaking contact at the phone company, Telecom, to find out he has know idea why our phone wouldn't be working for the past 3 weeks. He was very nice and said someone would fix it in the next few days. I was trying to be positive in thinking that it would actually get fixed since a few days in Italy means weeks, usually.

Only in Italy would you get a call at 9AM on a rainy Saturday from a worker asking to come fix your phone in 10 min. Wow, we hurry up and get dressed because we need internet.

Only in Italy does the phone guy explain that Telecom just moved our phone line to another area. How do you just move a paying customers phone line to some place else??? I fail to understand.

We are so grateful to have a phone and internet again. We will be calling soon, and I will posting long overdue Christmas photos. I am currently learning to use my new MacBook that Brian got me for Christmas, so hopefully I can do some fun things with our photos.
